Strength Of A Spiral - GYROTONIC and personal training in San Francisco

Don't be a deep fried couch potato!
So you spend 50-60 hours a week working hard and then you get some precious time off and you spend it sitting again? I hope not. But if you've worked such a hard week and haven't been getting strong, regular exercise, you're going to be tired, worn down and possibly aching by the time your weekend comes. That is no way to lead life. Not only is it not very fun, but getting out and about on your weekends, whether hiking, skiing, golfing, cycling or playing tennis, adds to your vitality and clears your mind for the next work week. Your time off is precious. Make sure you can get the most out of it by spending time during the week to keep your body fit.

Don't wreck your work week by getting injured on Sunday.
Aside from just having the vitality to go out and have some active fun on weekends, getting your 10 to 1 formula in during the week will help ensure that you'll perform well and avoid injury during your round of golf, tennis match or when hitting the slopes. Your muscles will be ready for the activity, with strength and flexibility. Your joints will be prepared with ease of motion and stability. And your whole body will work together with coordination, precision and power.

Activity specific training for the weekend warrior in you.
Each different type of active recreational activity uses your body in a different way, requiring different skills and balances of strength. Each one puts different stresses on your body and opens you up to different possibilities of injury. Lance Armstrong won't work in the gym the same way Rafael Nadal will. While you're not a professional athlete and you don't need to be as specific in your workouts as they would, you still want to make sure what you're doing in the gym is going to help improve your game, reduce your chance of injury and make your time worthwhile. The periodized training we'll do will improve your performance regardless, but there are sports specific training plans for the most popular recreation activities such as:

* Tennis * Golf * Cycling * Triathlons * Skiing *

I am always glad to hear my clients tell me about the activities they want to do and am glad to be able to doing focused training routines to help them improve in their choice of activity.

So let's get to work...
